Contact us today and let’s start planning that bathroom remodeling dream project.
Boss Design Center handles both design and construction under one roof. We create kitchens that fit your home’s architecture, serve your lifestyle, and tell your story—not just assemble beautiful materials.
Our portfolio features over 20 completed projects. Each reflects a unique design philosophy developed with the homeowner through our collaborative process.
One team handles design and construction from concept to completion. No coordinating separate parties or finger-pointing when issues arise.
Every detail selected before construction begins. No allowances or surprise costs. If your project starts at $200,000, it ends at $200,000.
The designer who creates your vision stays involved through completion. You’re not handed off from salesperson to designer to project manager.
See and touch materials in person at our McLean or Bethesda locations. Make selections confidently, not from catalog photos.
"Construction process was smooth, much quicker than anticipated, and the crew was extremely skillful with expertise in all aspects of the work—carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and tile. We are extremely happy with the end result—the kitchen is bright and feels bigger than we had anticipated."
"When Talha came over for his initial meeting, he didn't immediately ask about our budget like everyone else. He just listened to what we wanted. The renderings he created were so accurate—what we saw in the pictures is exactly what we got. Every single day when we walk into this kitchen, we smile."
"What stood out about Boss Design was that they weren't just contractors—they were designers first. The kitchen they created for us is exactly what we wanted, with plenty of cabinet space and better flow than we thought possible. They finished on time and on budget. Having one company handle everything made such a difference."

Our kitchen remodeling projects typically range from $80,000 to $250,000. Your investment depends on the size of your kitchen, materials selected, extent of structural changes, and level of customization. During our free consultation, we’ll discuss your budget openly to design within your parameters. Our fixed-rate contracts mean you’ll know the total cost upfront with no surprise expenses during construction.
A typical kitchen remodel takes 6-8 months total from initial consultation to completion. This includes 1-2 months for design development, 4-6 weeks for permitting and scheduling, and 3-4 months of construction. We provide specific timelines during your consultation based on your particular project. Our comprehensive planning and active project management help us maintain these schedules consistently.
Yes. We obtain and manage all necessary permits for your project—building, electrical, plumbing, and any others required by your jurisdiction. We don’t do work without proper permits because this protects you legally and ensures all work meets local code requirements. Permit handling is included in our service with no separate fees. We coordinate all inspections and follow-up.
Most clients remain in their homes during kitchen remodeling. We implement protection measures for unaffected areas, maintain daily cleanup, and can discuss temporary kitchen setups. We contain work to the kitchen area using physical barriers for dust control. The renovation is disruptive, but we work to minimize impact on your daily life through careful planning and respectful job site management.
Many of our best kitchen projects start with clients who aren’t certain about their vision. We excel at helping you discover what you want through thoughtful conversation, exploring inspiration images, and guided showroom visits. About half our clients come to us uncertain, and we’re experienced at guiding them through the discovery process. Design expertise is included in our design-build approach—you’re not paying separately for these services.
No. We don’t use allowances. You select every detail during the design phase—cabinet colors, grout, hardware, everything—before construction begins. This lets us provide fixed-rate contracts with complete transparency. If your project is quoted at $200,000, it costs $200,000. Change orders are rare and occur only when structural issues are discovered after demolition or when you request scope additions beyond the original design.
Yes. The designer who creates your vision stays involved through final completion. This boutique service model means consistent communication with someone who knows your project intimately from day one. You’re not handed off from salesperson to designer to project manager with no continuity of understanding. Many clients specifically ask us this question because they’ve had negative experiences elsewhere. With us, the answer is always yes.
We serve the Washington D.C. metro area including Northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland.
